What’s in my Rocksbox?

I’m a complete sucker for subscription/sample boxes, and if you’ve been a reader of Miss Natty’s Beauty Diary for some time, you might remember my obsession with this totally amazing company by the name of Rocksbox.

For my newer readers, I’ll fill you in a little bit. Rocksbox is a fashion jewelry subscription box service in which a personal stylist will pick (3) pieces of jewelry for you to wear that are completely catered to your personal style. Your style is determined by taking a quick style survey, and then you will have your very own wishlist in which you can add specific pieces to so the stylists can get a better idea of what you like. Also, when items are available, some of your wishes will be granted! The pieces you will receive are yours to borrow for as long as you’d like. When you feel like you’re ready, just stick the enclosed shipping label on the package and pop it in your local postal box. Within the week, you’ll already receive your next box. If there are items you’d hate to part with, you can purchase any items at a discounted (20% off retail) price. There is no limit to the amount of boxes you can receive in a month. The cost is just $19/month.

There are over 30 brands, but some of my favorites are Kendra Scott, Loren Hope and Gorjana. My personal favorite right now is Loren Hope.

Here’s a peek into one of my latest boxes:

  • Kendra Scott Rayne Necklace in White Pearl (retail $80)
  • Sophie Harper Pave Ball Studs in Gold (retail $39)
  • SLATE Total Eclipse Cuff (retail $39)

I really liked this box and ended up keeping the Kendra Scott necklace and Sophia Harper studs. All of the items were my style, and I thought each of them were super cute.

How cute is the packaging!?

The idea of renting jewelry might not appeal to everyone, but I think it’s a really cool and fun way to try different brands and style of pieces without any commitment. I think it’s also pretty nice because some of the brands have higher price tags (such a Loren Hope) with necklaces that cost well over $100, so it’s nice to get a little feel of luxury. I think it’s especially nice for those of you that get bored with pieces quickly, and like to refresh items in your wardrobe frequently.
