Marc Jacobs (508) Night Fever & Hot Stuff Air Brush Soft Glow Duo Review, Photos, Swatches!

Marc Jacobs Night Fever & Hot Stuff Air Blush Soft Glow Duo ($42, 0.282 oz) is a medium-dark rosy pink/plum with slightly warm undertones and a luminous sheen.

The Marc Jacobs Air Blush Soft Glow Duos feature two shades (one lighter and one darker) that you can apply separately if you’d like, or swipe your brush across the pan and the two colors will merge together beautifully to create a customized color and intensity to your liking.

There are (5) total shades in the Marc Jacobs Air Blush range, and #508 Night Fever & Hot Stuff is the darkest shade. Despite that, I believe it will cater nicely to a variety of skintones; not to mention it’s a great color for the Fall/Winter.

The formulation is absolutely beautiful and luxurious like the whole Marc Jacobs Cosmetic line, and it delivers quality and in my opinion, justification for the money spent. The texture is silky smooth and light-weight, not powdery or in-your-face pigmented, but perfectly semi-opaque, with buildable coverage. You won’t have to build it up much as the color is quite intense; all you need is a light dusting and your cheeks will be a glowing rose. The blendability is excellent, and once you buff the blush on your cheeks, the product melts into your skin for a very natural and luminous finish. Have I sold you on this blush yet?

In addition, Marc Jacobs claims that this blush delivers 24-hour wear from day to night. That’s a pretty big claim to make, but I have to say that this blush definitely lasts longer on my cheeks than others I wear on a daily basis, that typically seem to fade completely by the end of the night.

My favorite application method is a small stippling brush such as the MAC #159 brush. I typically use stippling brushes for darker or more pigmented blushes as they don’t pick up an excessive amount of product.

Aside from the product, the packaging is equally aesthetically pleasing, and a compact I really enjoy handling and carrying in my bag. It’s shiny, sleek and slim and doesn’t take up much space. Perfect for travel.

I’m a huge fan of this blush, and if you’re in the market for a good blush, I’d definitely recommend checking these out the next time you’re in your local Sephora store. I’m almost certain that I will acquire some of the other shades in the future, as I love the formula so much!
